What is Air Mail Form Creator?
-------------------------------
Air Mail Forms Creator is a program that lets you create your own forms to use with Air Mail
v4.2 or Air Mail Pro. Currently there are only 4 templates to choose. More to come in the
future.
You will need to have Air Mail v4.2 or Air Mail Pro installed on your system otherwise this
program is no use to you.
Note: Forms are intended for WorkBench 3.x only. If you have Workbench 2.x then the pictures
will not show up.
Air Mail Form Creator Interface
--------------------------------
The interface is straight forward. When you run Air Mail Forms Creator it opens a single
window. Within the window there are four thumb nail images of a form.
You can scroll up and down to view other hidden forms.
To select a form to create click on the image button. A new window will be opened and
there you enter some simple information such as your name, your email address and the
picture you want to you.
Selecting a Picture
-------------------
If the form you have selected requires a picture then you will need to select an IFF
picture file. When creating a new form make sure you keep the picture small.
Try to create a form that will fix in 640 x 200 screen. This will ensure that
everyone can see your form and that it will not go beyond the bottom of the screen.
The best is to create a hi-res and lo-res form so that the user can choose to use
hi or lo resolution.
Also make sure that the picture is in 8 colors. You can also include a 256 color
version if you like for those users who have 256 colors system.
Creating the Form
-----------------
When you have entered all the information and have selected an picture you can select
the Create button. This will ask you for a form name to save it as. Keep the form
name length short (no longer than 21 characters)
The form will be saved to the Forms directory.
Viewing Your New Form
---------------------
Start Air Mail and select the New Mail icon and then select the form you have
just created.
Spread the Forms
----------------
After you have create all the forms you should send them your everyone that use
Air Mail. If would be useless to you if you don't distribute them. Send them
to Toysoft Development Inc. and we will select the best ones to include in an
archive that will be put on Aminet and on our homepage. This will ensure
that everyone will get your forms.
